this is not a question per say, but the other day I recieved a best answer noticed, and then a winner notice?

it was wierd, and I didn't know how to report it to yahoo. Right after recieving the notification of having a best answer, I recieved this notice claiming to be from yahoo that I had won some prize. I assumed it was of course a scam of some sort. it was from Ireland and looked like an official Yahoo site, anybody else get this one?

The lottery winner thing is a scam. If it shows to have come from a Yahoo email address, forward the complete message (including headers) to network-abuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com.

Yahoo will only notify you if you have received a Best Answer from some question you answered. The other email was spam. There is a real Irish Lottery, but it is NOT conducted on the internet and Yahoo has nothing to do with it, or any other lottery. Put THIS one in spam and forget it. And yes, I got several of them.

The arrival of both notices is purely coincidental. The notice of being a winner is FAKE. It might look real, but it is without a doubt fake.
