What NFL team do you think will pick up John David Booty (USC)?

Whoever has a pick in the top fifteen. I don't like USC, but I'm not stupid, the guy is pretty good. Out of all the pre-season hype in QB's though, I like the ones from Kentucky, Hawaii and Florida, in that order.

As a die hard SC fan, it pains me to say Booty isn't even a first rounder. Considering every lineman on USC will be drafed in the first or second round in coming years (including future first rounder [barring injury] true freshman Chris O'Dowd), he alrady can't throw short passes over the line. Some plays in the WSU game he had a man deep and getting seperation, but was just plain scared to try throwing it. If u go back and watch some of his passes last year the were 25+ yards, i think most of them were like 10+ yards after catch. I am guessing 3rd round if he can't learn to put some touch and loft on his short passes over the middle, and he grows some balls and throws it 25+ yards in the air.

The Chicago Bears

I think he is destined for Tampa Bay or the Falcons. Both of them need a young gun and I don't think he will drop to the vikings in the draft. I could see Matt Ryan of BC going to Minnesota and being a very good fit there.

Booty's going early, and the Vikings won't be THAT early.
