Has anyone opened up a wedding supply/rental store? I need advice.?

There is no wedding store in the own I live, everyone needs to go to a city 4 hrs away or order online. I am just preparing my business plan to take to the bank...any idea how much it costs to start a wedding store? I have been doing alot of research online and have come up with my own figure, but am curious as to what it has cost other people. I am averaging to start off with supplies for reception of 100 people. Also any websites to purchase supplies would be great. One more thing...if there are any suggestions as to what brides wish wedding stores would rent or sell it would be appreciated! thanks for your help.

Something that I wish was more widely available locally was centerpiece rentals....like vases and such. I ended up purchasing 14 (24 inch) square glass vases for my floral centerpieces, as well as 28 (4 inch) cube glass vases. It was costly to purchase and especially the shipping because they were so heavy. I would have loved to rent something similar, but I just couldn't find anything. Here is a link to the place where I purchased them: http://www.modernvaseandgift.com/proddetail.php?pr...

Good luck with your business plan!
