R there home remedies for a toothache?
I have a lung disease but I need to get my teeth pulled. The dentist will not pull the teeth until my family doctor gives a consult that it is ok. which may take a week or so. Anyone have any advice on what I can do for my teeth until the dentist can pull them. The whole right side of my mouth hurts due to the toothaches. Can someone please help me.
Captivating ur mind : doing good besides the toothache. It has been a long 3 weeks. thanks for asking

Try some mouth wash like Listener or something of that nature and hold it in your mouth for as long as you can stand it on the side that is hurting. It will help to numb the nerve for a short period of time. Try taking so Tylenol or something of that nature. You can try some ambsol. Clove oil does work very well but with having breathing problems I don't really suggest because it is strong and may take your breath. Clove oil can also burn the gum if you use to much.Has the dentist or Doctor put you on any anti bodics. This too will help with the pain. Once the infection is gone then they should not hurt as much.

You need to find out if you have an infection in that tooth. If it is infected and if you don't address the infection, you could do very serious damage to the rest of your body. Go to your GP or to a walk in clinic to get, at least, an anti-biotic. I have used cinnamon oil with success. You have to have organic, food grade cinnamon oil and some carrier oil like walnut or almond oil. Mix about 10 drops of cinnamon oil in a tablespoon of carrier oil and rub it on the gum and tooth. You can also use Tea Tree Oil to treat the infection. Garlic may also help with the infection - but rubbing a clove of garlic on your tooth and gum will be a stinky thing. Do you have really bad breath like a tooth is rotting? That is a bad sign. You may have to go to a walk in dentist and pay to have it yanked. You need to get the infection under control first.

Get some stuff that is for canker sores, it numbs it. Also, take hot baths. When I had a horrible toothache that I need a root canal for, all that helped was hot baths....at all hours of the night. I have no idea why.

get thee to a health food store for clove oil, or if you have cloves (the spice) at home, crush and place over tooth/teeth. not the gum, the tooth. maybe soak in a drop of olive oil. good luck.

I've heard that if you bite on a clove of garlic it can help. Can you take Tylenol?
