SupraVentricular Tachycardia. It means the Heart is beating fast (Tachycardia) and the electrical impulse is above the ventricles. It usually is a heart rate >150 bpm. And looks a certain way on an ECG. The treatment of prolonged SVT is a medicine called Adenosine...it basically stops the electrical activity in the heart and restarts it normally. You may also need a daily Beta Blocker(Metoprolol or the like) treatment if it persists. Good Luck!

I have that! It is when your heart beats really fast for no reason for about 1 minute and then immediatley returns to normal without gradual declining (supraventricular tachycardia)
