when a dog goes into heat????

When a dog goes into heat don't you wish it DID become more aggressive?

Reading a question about whether or not a dog gets more aggressive with males when she's going into heat made me think about it in a very wicked way.

Does anyone else wish females became super nasty and aggressive with people before they went into heat? Or super destructive and hyperactive? So much so that anyone with an intact female would be begging the vet for an appt. to spay her rather than suffer through one heat???

Wouldn't it be nice to know that the BYB crossing poorly bred "designer" dogs at less than 1 year of age stood a good chance of needing stitches every time one of their females went into heat?

Anyone else think this would be poetic justice?

yes... lol... it would be poetic justice. the other answers just don't get the question.

just because a dog is from "a champion bloodline" does NOT mean it should be bred.

She is referring to this question...

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlNt....

Now.....The asker didn't say the male wasn't fixed, and who's to say they don't keep them separated when she's in heat and they can't supervise?? I hate irresponsible pet owners as much as you do but, just being open-minded since we don't have all the facts...maybe the female is from champion lines and they may want to breed her in the future? Or just MAYBE being a new dog...they just haven't gotten her spayed YET....just a thought.

Edit: Ok so re-reading the question, i see you're not referring directly to that question. But no, I don't wish females became so agressive that pet owners would beg for them to be fixed because most likely the vet trip would end in it being put down, not spayed. There are good responsible pet owners/breeders out there....you can't assume that anyone with an un-fixed pet isn't.

I'm not saying it SHOULD be bred...I'm saying who the hell said it WAS going to be bred!? I'm so sick of people jumping to conclusions and getting on their high fricken horses, that's all i'm saying!

whilst a telephone call to the vet in no way hurts and is unfastened, i understand some canines are previous due starters. i think of it somewhat is a mind-blowing concept to steer away from early spaying and the linked wellbeing unfavorable aspects that flatter it. purely remember that once she does bypass into warmth, verify there are actually not any slip ups. unintentional litters might properly be somewhat prevented via leashing your dogs and making specific you're along with her every time she walks out the door, no exceptions, in spite of if there's a fenced section, not even for a minute. remember, no excuses for unintentional litters!

u know they have forums for this kind of talk.
