Why does God hate Al Lah; Why are Christians Gay?
HERE'S MY ACTUAL QUESTION; (asked ten minutes ago)and you're going to unwittingly help me make my point. (I hope)
Question: Why do most of us only answer Inflamatory Religious "questions"?
You'll notice that the questions on here which receive the most responses are the Inflamatory ones. Questions posted which are non-judgemental, or meerly inquisitive, receive relatively few responses.
Are we just here to fight?
ps: If I had asked, "why are christians gay" or "why does God hate Al Lah"... or anything similarly offensive; I bet you ten bucks I'd have received 50 responses.

Hee hee, good point, and that's pretty clever:-) I think everyone likes to argue what they think they know, which is really a good exercise because it forces you to examine and refine your argument.
I also think this country is very polarized right now, and people on one side are pissed off by people on the other side, and will take any opportunity they can to try to prove them wrong or point out their stupidity. Of course people on the other side think they're the ones being stupid, and it just goes around and around. I highly doubt if anyone has ever been "converted" on Y!A, whether it's lib - con, Christian-Atheist, racist - non racist, evolutionist - creationist, or whatever the division. People just like arguing, but it's not getting anybody anywhere.

Actually, I only take the time to answer the ones that seem sincere and really want to know an answer. There are some people on here who are genuinely looking for the truth. The others, I pay no attention to because I take my beliefs seriously.

part of it is that people enjoy conflict more then non conflict. The nicer things arent as easy to be gung ho about.
I do like seeing the milder questions and i do wish R and S would move towards that.

That's the way trolling works.
