Dear ladies, what makes a great lover in your opinion?

The perfect lover... takes his time, is gentle, thoughtful, says 'I love you'... he puts your needs first, is respectful and kind. He loves you to pieces and isn't afraid to show it.

Being gay isn't a choice. There is no way to 'not' be gay. You can't just pray the gay away, no amount of bible reading is going to change who you are and how you were born. More than likely you're gay. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. Anyone who tells you otherwise is EXTREMELY wrong. I dated a guy once who actually went out and bought a sex manual,because he could see that I wasn't satisfied in bed. he was in the marines and therefore a pretty straight edged all american kind of guy. I was a total jerk to him though and I did not realize until I got older and had had some guys that weren't willing to make anywhere near as much of an effort, how thoughtful it was of this guy. when I was eighteen I dated a guy that was thirty. he never pressured me into anything he would spent hours just massaging me and touching me. he was genuinly interested in making me feel good. I could have done better by him as well. these two men were active participants in sex . they did not just go through the motions they we right there in the moment . not thinking about getting that promotion or what color they wanted to paint the ceiling. They were not in a huge hurry to climax or overly obssessed with making me climax . they were simply focused on enjoying themselves and helping me enjoy myself.

A "great lover" in my opinion is one who pays attention to the responses (physical, verbal, body language) a woman gives during sex...he is attuned to what is pleasing to her...a great lover then employs what he has learned...he anticipates what she desires. He takes the time to know her, and he is not so selfish that he cares only about his own pleasure. He spends the time necessary to bring her to orgasm. He is not impatient. He is does not force her to do anything she is uncomfortable doing. He sincerely makes you feel like you couldn't be any sexier- that you are the most desirable woman on the planet.
