Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?
I am so fed up with the black community, I'm not a racist toward black people for the record. Tell me why do Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton alway sticking their noses in other people problems... Black people needs to stop counting on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and try to work together and solve the situation themselves. Instead they get all these people marching in Jena, LA like it 1968. Please black people we came a long way from all this mess and worked d_mn hard too... Just like the Million Man March, I mean nothing was solve nothing!!! What did the speakers do at the Million Man March, is take from the poor man pocket that day, hypocrites!!! Now, tell me why I should shout my mouth up... Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, NAACP, and Minister Louis Farrakhan need to march and pass out petitions to the people who are fed up with all rappers in the United States or elsewhere that's rappin' about speading violence, smoking dope, selling drugs on the streets, or bragging about how much money they are making in the business, and getting drunk or crunk like they say.... Hey, people they stopped Imus for his stupid comments why not stop rappers and bury their music forever. Protest to stop rap music, now.............

The best thing that could happen to the black community is if they started protesting race-baiters like Sharpton and Jackson the way they protest anything else that doesn't kiss their butts. Sharpton and Jackson defending every criminal that comes along do FAR more damage to the black community than most of the things they whine about.
Easy example: the Jena noose protests. How much damage did the nooses actually do? None. They offended a few people, but that's it. Thanks to Sharpton and Jackson throwing yet another shrieking, overreacting protest where they demand the release of criminals, the whole country looks at black people and thinks of a bunch of whiners who will play the race card at the drop of a hat, whether justified or not.
Here's a free clue for Jackson, Sharpton, and all the other race-baiters: not everything involving a black person is race related. The sooner you guys figure that out and stop trying to turn everything into a race issue, the sooner people will stop seeing you guys as a bunch of whining losers trying to get out of personal responsibility by playing the race card every time something doesn't go your way.

As someone who knows a little more than most of you about jesse jackson and Al Sharpton.I will tell you that yes, they are coming down hard on the rappers and other musicians who use violent lyrics in their music.even the rappers are now fighting back the other day,David banner(whom some of you might know)fired back ,when Sharpton told the rappers to bury the "n" word, the "b"word and the "h"word.
But most of you don't know that ,what music label is going to push for socially conscious material?none that I know of even in pop,its sex it up or lose it,most of the music you hear is not what the artist is inerested in producing,it is what the record labels believe will sell cd's.
Also be careful what you wish for, because there is the right to free speech,so when you can stop people from using any of the offensive "three words,
n word
b word
h word
what else is next?
the fact is many parents are relying on the government to raise and protect their kids, which is morally and ethically wrong, you don't have to tune in to,or purchase anything that is offensive to you or your children, parents at some point have to be responsible for how their kids are raised.
I grew up listening to rap, does that mean that I automatically, rob, shoot steal or maim people? No its all about parenting.
If children can watch DVDs with all of the violence, gore and crude sexual acts in them, whats the inherent difference between that sort of exposure and listening to rap CD's.
There are "clean" rappers out there like Lupe fiasco, common, talib kweli who buys their records?
or when was the last time you heard them on your local radio?
You should not point the finger when you don't have an inkling of what is going on in your soceity.
Listen to Al sharptons radio show,he is now reprimanding the rappers, but who ultimately decides what America listens to,its the bigwig music labels.

I have conflicting views about Al Sharpton. On one end, I see him as a smart person, who knows how to handle himself in a debate and play a crowd to his benefit. I admire qualities like this in people, so I will often look up to them despite their actual views or intentions. On the other end, I see him as a social manipulator and a racist. I usually dislike these qualities, especially if the outcome of these people's actions is negative. In Sharpton's case, I would say he generates more hate, racism, and negativity than he does good. Though he does bring awareness to some important issues, he also takes advantage of other people's situations and makes a big deal out of nothing a lot of the time... all for his personal gain. So he makes money and people grow to hate each other more.
It is this trait in people that I despise so much, I hate it where ever I see it. Though I am no fan of George Bush, I am very much against jumping on the anti-Bush bandwagon, especially for stupid reasons, like him causing 9/11 so he could go to Iraq for oil. I do dislike the fact that Bush's character, actions, and "leadership" have all played a major role in dividing the United States people against themselves much more than ever before. I believe that we are so divided because of his failed leadership that the only thing saving us from civil war is a lack of regional separation. If it were not for the mixing and melting of lefties, righties, and everyone else in cities across America, we might be seeing action to separate this land from that land.
Anyone who takes part in the division of a people for the sake of personal gain is the worst kind of scum, in my opinion. Whether it be single issue people like Al Sharpton or people with poor leadership skills like Pres. Bush, I have a great dislike for them because of the division they cause be it intentional or not.

Black people do not consider Jesse and Al spokesperson for the Black community. If you stepped out of your box you'd know that all Blacks are not the same.
That's why you need to shut your mouth. Now mind your business for a change.

If you want Blacks to protest against Jesse and Al then you need to protest against people like O'Reilly. Is that clear? Are you ready? Al and O'Reilly pulled a publicity stunt, but you all defend O'Reilly for his "freedom of speech". You people are the biggest bunch of bigots I've seen in my whole entire WORKtime on the internet.
roflmaoooo Funny stuff!

Ya know, we might as well protest against pop and rock music that glorifies sex and club drugs...like 'x'. We should protest against all the television shows that glorify women showing their cleavage. Yes...protest, protest, protest. What else can we protest?
Thank you.

Nigerian what it all boils down to is controlling Blacks. Yes, I said it. They never find fault in what they do.
