Has anyone ever eaten dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort?
I am taking a big family trip over Easter with my family, my sister's family and our parents. There will be a total of 10, 4 of them kids. 3 girls ages 12, 12, and 11, and my 7 year old son. The kids like seeing the characters, but they really are not into the Princesses. This is one of the few places I have never been to, we will be having Easter dinner. Is this a good place to eat? What are your thoughts? This comes highly recommended from a current Cast Member, so I went with it, but I am just a little nervous. Should I be? Thanks.
I tried to get into Chef Mickey's but it was booked for Easter dinner already. If anyone has a better suggestion I am all ears (no pun intended.)

If the kids aren't that interested in the princesses, this restaurant is really not the place to be.
You could try Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary--buffet style dining with Mickey and friends. There's also the Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom--with "traditional" American food and a Minnie and friends character dining experience. Also at the Magic Kingdom, I'd recommend the Crystal Palace--buffet-style dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends.

Expensive, expensive, expensive. And all the food in Walt Disney World is the same; nothing is ever that good except the price. With so many people, it will cost an arm and a leg. Consider mickey's buffet in the Contemporary Hotel; it's better for all those children, they have characters walking around and a large array of food. Good place.

I think this is good, however if you are expecting something very fancy you will be disappointed. I was there in August and its was pretty good, a little fancier than the others but not very vancy. If you want other recomendations email me

Yes the food is acctucaly pretty good, and if you go there for breakfast they have Alice, The Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger (still pretty babyish though).
Have fun!

www.allearsnet.com for menus. Excellent information at this site. It will probably also list the characters at the meal. I think Mary Poppins shows up at this one.
