Confederate $10 Note?
I purchased this confederate $10 note today and wanted to know if it is authentic, the year is 1864. What is its current value. To view the pictures click the links below

I bought a similar one a few years back. Yours looks authentic but can never say 100% without having it in my own hand to view. They are only worth about $10.oo.
Of course they are worth more to the collector that needs that particular one to complete a collection. If you are happy with your purchase is all that matters. It was obviously worth it for you to buy. Good luck.

There are many reproductions of confederate currency. They can have the word "facsimile" written somewhere on them sometimes in very small letters or have a serial number of known fakes. Some of the known serial numbers for reproductions are at this link. Hope this helps

The note cannot be evaluated from a picture. You need to take it to a professional appraiser.

I haven't the slightest idea if it's real but, wow, whoever is selling it for 35 dollars is either trying to jip someone or is really foolish.
