Who should be first?

The way USC played tonight should LSU be number 1

Update:

I agree should be LSU, Cal, USC

Update 2:

J.Mo your right,AZ ST or Cal are both capable of doing in USC, watch out for the Wildcats also they are sneaking up on some teams.

Of course USC should be #1, they beat a very good team in a hostile environment, and LSU has played nobody that is any good away. Yeah, they beat Virginia Tech and Middle Tenn. and South Carolina at home, but USC has won at Nebraska and at Washington. I predict that LSU loses to Kentucky and could also lose to Florida, Auburn or Alabama. While USC is only at risk at Cal or Arizona State.

I love Cal, I went to Cal, and I am a season ticket holder. But I think you have to keep it LSU, USC (not necessarily in that order) until one of them loses. Or else, there is no point in having polls.

The order of LSU and USC doesn't matter this week. LSU will prove it on the field. If the Tigers beat the Gators, they should be #1 (at least until USC plays Cal, or at least Oregon), if they lose, then it's an all Pac-10 1,2 combo.

well, neither played great.....And while LSU did have the more convincing win.....it was against Tulane. I think LSU is the better team....but they need a more convincing win to push USC outta the way.....you know how much the media loves the Condoms.....

I think another week like this, and LSU will take their place...and if they don't we know the polls are bogus.

(to the guy who wants Cal....I'm a big Cal fan...but not yet...we need a coupla more solid performances.....and the other guys nedd some shaky ones....we have won....but not dominated.)

As long as the Buckeyes are not given points for beating a creampuff school...I'll probably be happy.

in my opinion, LSU first followed by USC then Cal but the media loves to kiss SC's a** so probably no change in the #1 and #2

LSU got off to a rough start, but they should be #1 USC has been over rated all season.

LSU is #1 without a doubt. USC is a fraud. Cal or Oregon will take them out.

if it's even close the SEC team won't be no 1. these are the same people that had Oklahoma no 3 and Texas no 7.

i want to see USC-LSU championship game just because USC hasn't had to play the SEC winner yet.... thanks to the BCS.

the person below me is silly. VA Tech would beat Nebraska ten out of ten times. they are not even close. clearly big 12 is Softie McSofterton. i would be ashamed that Nebraska scored 30 pts on my defense.

LSU. we sucked in the first half vs. Tulane, but we dominated in the second half.

    USC won by 3 points.

But it won't matter, cuz USC will most prob be #1 still anyway.

  • LSU did nothing to justify overtaking USC today.

USC will probably remain in the top spot. Until they lose, they will stay there. That's just the way it goes.
