Problem with vertical, black lines on LCD TV?

On the right side of my TV screen, there are 3, vertical, black lines. One of them is about 1/4 inch wide and the other 2 are smaller. What is causing these lines, and what can be done about them. My TV is a Westinghouse 32" LCD (model W3213) HDTV. I've had it for about 10 months.

Westinghouse is the cheapest TV model.

You have result of the cheapest work from that company.

Defect is simple: loosing connection between LCD and chip

inside panel, some chip outputs bad or LCD bad.

Go to nearest TV repair shop to fix.

Some repair shops have deal with that company and may be warranty will help you.

If that televison is still under warranty, it's likely you can get it replaced. I don't know what the problem is exactly, but another similar problem was discussed on another site and the unit was replaced by Sony.

If it's not still under warranty, I'd take it to a repairperson and get an estimate. It doesn't sound like something that's likely to go away or be fixed by getting new cables.

you may have got moisture behind the lower front moulding and corroded the small electrical connections.

dont allow moisture to run down the screen
