I'm 5 days late and I've taken 2 pregnancy tests both negative but still no period. Possible to be pg still?

I took a test the first day I should have gotten my period and one this morning. They both said negative but I still haven't gotten my period. Is it still possible to be pregnant? Can the tests be wrong? I go to the doctor tomorrow but still wanted to know if anyone else has ever experienced this.

I have experienced a late period. Actually about 2 months ago this happened. Now I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms, but my period was late. So I waited until the next month, and took the test. Negative ... I waited another week to make sure - Still negative. Here my period just skipped itself naturally. I normally have a regular 28 day Cycle, and Ovulate every 14 days. So I was a little thrown off by this ... The doctor gave me progesterone to induce my period once again, and I'm now back on track.

You could be stressing yourself out of your period as well as possibly be pregnant. It is possible to test neg even when you are pregnant. I never got a positive on one of those take home tests any of the times I was pregnant.

Well firstly, it takes up to 10 days for implantation to take place and for you to get the symptoms you felt the first time around. So it might just be your anxiety. Again pregnancy tests can take few days to detect the HCG (the pregnancy hormone), so it really depends on how sensitive the test was. Wait a few more days and take another test. Hope this helps :)

Yes, the tests can be wrong (except when they read positive, that typically means you are PG). Had a good friend test 4 times negative, but she was PG.

I think it's possible that it might not be showing up yet, or that the tests are wrong.

Then again you could jsut have a later period, 5 days isn't all that much, even for someone who is usually regular.

too early to tell, wait another week or 2. I waited 1.5 weeks before getting a +ive sign fr the kit. prior to that, i went through 2 kits with -ive results.
