Do you get headaches when..?

you ejaculate? My husband has been getting these very intense headaches when he is getting close to ejaculation. Does anyone know what could be the cause or had any similar experiences?

Male blood pressure increases significantly during ejaculation. It could be that your husband has developed mild hypertension (high b/pressure) which is often asymptomatic, and when he ejaculates it pushes the bp higher to a level that creates symptoms.

Also you gotta consider that muscular strain across the neck and shoulders can encourage headache and the missionary position can do this.

Do get it checked out - just for safety.

He should avoid being too "active during a session" to see if this improves his symptoms.

    1. When is the last time you had a headache? Couple of years (regular one) 2. What did you take for your headache? Advil 3. When is the last time you had a hangover headache? About a week ago 4. What worked for this headache? Time 5. What doesn't work at all for your headaches? Banging my head against a wall 6. Do you get dull headaches or throbbing headaches? I usually do not ever get headaches. When I do (regular ones) they are usually dull. A hot bath or real good massage works wonders. A chiropractor may help too to get you back in working order!

It does happen to some men.

The reason for this is unknown in most cases. However it can be due to blood pressure or diagnosable neurological problems. He should be checked out to be on the safe side, but try not to worry about it.

There are treatments which might help and he might well recover on his own in time.

Sounds like it may be high blood pressure , or maybe dehydration ??

He should really get this checked out by his GP as any unexplained headaches need investigation

The best solution is to gain control over it. As someone already said, stop when you're getting there and relax. Pay more attention to pleasuring your mate--orally, perhaps--and avoid rubbing your penis up against anything while doing so. It will take work on your part and patience on both parts. As a last resort, some antidepressants curb sexual functioning with the intention of learning the pleasure of restraint after which you could taper off them. Here's your goal: the longer you can delay your orgasm, the more intense it will be. So it isn't just a matter of satisfying your mate. This is the main reason some claim stoned sex is better, unlike drunk sex which can leave you unable to perform (brewer's droop). You enjoy exploring each other longer. And remember, oral isn't just one place. It's all over, paying particular attention to kissing, and TALK about what each of you like. Strange how people don't talk about sex when they're the ones doing it.
