I cant get into safe mode?
I know I have a virus and i want to scan in safe mode. Probem is that when i select safe mode it brings up this list like "multidisk(0) partition blah blah blah" I know its supposed to do that but it jus freezes. I cant get beyond that point.

Press F8 continually at boot up. If that does not work, boot in normal mode: Go to Start > Run > now type 'msconfig' without the quotes. Open the BOOT.INI tab and select /Safeboot > click apply > click ok. This will mean that you will boot in Safe Mode every time so you will need to reverse the procedure (untick) when you have finished to get back to normal mode.

its probably the virus the only way i can see you doing something is start you computer reguarly copy every thing thats important documents videos etc and then reinstall the operating system weither that would be vista xp or any other trust me thats what i had to do and its kind of nice to start of new

try F5 or F8 for safe mode

reformatt install your os. For the future, don't go to unoffical sites, and stay away from emails. you don't know who they are from. Hit delete.
