Also the project has to be relevant to everyday life somehow.

    jab a nail in a potato

    jab another nail in another potato

    run wires from both nails.

    hook the wires to a lite bulb

    put half an alka-seltzer tablet in a plastic film canister with some water

    put the lid on and stand back
