Why do you have to give so many players? I actually think it's an okay deal. You're already strong on offense. Hossa for Heatley is definitely worth it, especially if Heatley is going to play with Alfredsson and Spezza. Jokinen for Cammalleri is good, if you consider just the stats from last year. Sedin and McDonald... depends on how well either of them is going to play. I think you should be getting someone back for McCabe, but he hasn't played well at all after signing the big contract. Goalie-wise, you might be a bit weak because of injuries. Emery is currently injured, but he should be back soon. Hasek can easily be injured at any time. Don't know how long Giguere is out. The only one who's probably going to stay healthly is Toskala, but he's still competeing for the no. 1 job. I think the best he can do will be sharing time with Raycroft, so he's not that valuable.
Overall: Good deal, but the other guy needs to throw in at least one more good player.

Heatley is good but i dont know if he is that good. I dont think its as easy to say no as everyone else though, think about it. You dont need toskola, hes a bag, he will be bench for the season barring some crazy injuries. Cammalari has started very well, i wouldnt expect that to continue through the entire season, and D. Sedin will have trouble producing like last year. You do get 3 key additions, try and switch hossa for tanguay or horton, if that works id really think about it.

Don't do it, no way.
MacDonald and Jokinen are not a measurable upgrade from Hossa and Sedin, if at all. Assuming that, would you give up a top flight keeper, a powerplay defenseman and a 34 goal/80 point 1st line center for Heatley?
No way. What if Heatley blew out a knee? You can't give up that many solid positional players for one guy unless that guy's name is Crosby. Even then it's a tough call.
Don't do it.

It's a rip, he gets more positions covered by this trade to help bolster fantasy hockey stats. However, if I were you I would try to move a goaltender you have for another good D-man, you have great fwds, and too much good goaltending and only a couple good dmen.
I would say either move Toskala or Giguere. Giguere is always amazing in the playoffs and human in the regular season. So Emery and Hasek are just as solid for the regular season where it counts for fantasy hockey and you'd probably get better quality D for Giguere if you dangled him as trade bait.

yes... although hes offering you great players.. heatley will do great yes, but macdonald got most of his points with assists last year and without selanne, who will he pass to?
and why would you have emery in front of hasek?
dont do the trade
