Will Les Miles coach for Michigan next year?
Big rumor here is that Les Miles, the LSU coach, will go to Michigan after this season. He played for Bo up there, was an asst. coach under him and seems always to wax fondly about his Alma Mater.

No, he'll stay at LSU, at least while they are still doing good.
He will most likely go, but it won't be now or even the next couple of years probably. He's got a good team at LSU and I doubt he would want to leave that even after all the criticism from spurrier...

I'm not aware of the fact that Les Miles has expressed an interest in taking the Michigan job. You may just try to read between the lines. Having said that, I'd prefer that the Michigan head coaching job be open to the best candidate available, not just to "Michigan Men". However, if I had to choose between Les Miles and Urban Cryer, I'd take Les Miles. He does have that fire in him.

He will go, but perhaps not next year.
Michigan still has a chance for a respectible season given their schedule, and if they upset OSU Carr may stick around another year.
Mallet looks like the real deal, so there is hope for the future.
If Michigan continues to struggle and OSU humiliates them, Miles may be headed up there, pending on what LSU does this year.

well another nail was slammed in Lloyed Carr's Coffin.. they will probably have to forfeit the Penn State win because of playing an inelidgeable player.. which makes them below .500 with a loss to a 1AA school and the one win vs a pathetic ND school.. so Carr's toast.. and the word I hear is that Miles is definately at Michigan next year (according to LSU people anyway).. heard a new rumor today though on Mike and Mike on ESPN.. because the Chargers SUCK!.. Pete Carroll may take that job if he can have full control (which they'll grant him).. of course with the NCAA lurking he might want to bail while he's still allowed to coach (See Pat Dye)

Who cares. We got the $$$ to hire someone with equal or greater coaching ability than that of Les Miles. If he goes fine, if he stays fine. What you need to worry about is Pete Carroll staying at USC. We are hearing rumors around here that after this year, he is going to give up coaching football to pursue his life long dream of being the construction worker in the newly reunited musical group, The Village People.

I hope he does. he ain't no coach neway. the only reason he looks so good is b/c of the talent he has. LSU was good before Les Miles came. i could see if they sucked and he came and got all those wins but they were National champs the year before he came. so i hope he goes
