Christians, why did God create me if only to burn in torment for eternity??
I'm sure this question has been asked, but what's YOUR justification?
And yes, I know a lot of you don't believe in eternal torment (or even God for that matter) but for those of you who do, how can you justify belief, even LOVE for such a MONSTER? Could God just not resist? He couldn't think of any other way to fulfill his "plan" without burning me in Hell forever? God is just? It sure doesn't seem that way, but how do YOU justify a maniac for a deity?
Sorry, that was supposed to be a lot shorter. :P
"you have a choice.
choose wisely."
Hmmmm, then I'd choose Hell. Wouldn't you?
"Who do you know who'd give up their only Son whom they loved to save many? Would you give up your only son if it meant salvation for billions and billions of people?"
Yes, duh. Wouldn't you?

I started to go in and type lots of information that to me would explain my stance. Um.
Instead, I'll offer some sources.
Flavius Josephus explained about Hell in his Dialogue with Trypho. Josephus was Jewish.
There are two books that explain the Christian thing, God thing, Heaven and Hell thing.
The first book was written by JRR Tolkien's good friend. Tolkien, as you prolly know, wrote Lord of the Rings. Tolkien influenced CS Lewis to become a Christian. Anyhow. Lewis wrote a book called Mere Christianity. He talked about some of the same types of things you've mentioned. So, I thought you might find a similar soul in Lewis. CS Lewis's book is called Mere Christianity. Lewis also wrote The Chronicles of Narnia.
Another book that helped me understand some things better is Rediscovering The Kingdom by Miles Munroe. Munroe is a black minister who was born and raised in the Bahamas.
For me, he brought the whole series of these conundrums into clear perspective.
If you want a brief overview, look at my myspace blog where I mention the kingdom at dexterloxley.

OK, you have a number of misconceptions. That is why you don't understand God.
First, he did not create you to burn in torment. He created you to honor him and to love your fellow man and make the world a better place. He wants you to know him.
Second those who do end up in hell go there by their own hand because they reject God. God either has already or will put you in a position where you choose whether you believe in him or not. If you choose to continue to not believe in him then you will have chosen the outcome that results from that. If you choose to believe in him then you will choose the outcome that comes along with that choice.
Third, people are not tormented in Hell as a punishment. They are tormented in Hell because it is a place without God. Right here on earth right now even though miserable things happen they would be a lot worse if God were not constantly stepping in behind the scenes and preventing problems and stopping the pain. In Hell there will be no one to step in and defend you as God has been doing even though you seem to be unaware of his presence. So you will belong totally to Satan. And Satan gets a kick out of causing suffering.
The reason you would have to be placed in Hell is that after you die you can only be with God if you are forgiven for your sins and you can only be forgiven if you acknowledge and accept the gift of forgiveness and that gift of forgiveness is Jesus.
So you see, God is not a monster. He has given you an easy way out to avoid Hell. Take it and live for eternity with him and his, or don't take it and live with Satan. It's your choice.

You must not be sure that God doesn't exist. If that is so, then I have to conclude that you don't want God. Hell is a place for those who want to be independent of God. I don't know what kind of place that would be. Perhaps by the time people find out, it may suit them well. I hope you never find out either.
We are all attracted to the possibility of God's love and equally repelled by the possibility of God constantly watching and judging us. But if we want to be a son or daughter of God we have to accept both his authority and his love just as we would as children in a human family. We have to choose.

I don't believe anyone is created to burn forever. You are just making this up.
If you are hell-bent on choosing hell then that's your choice. But know for sure God is not interested in burning you forever. He's got better things to do. You will be 'deleted' like a computer file. In an instant!

You assumption is wrong. You were not created to burn for eternity.
What were you created for? You were created to glorify God by enjoying Him forever.
What do you do with things you create and don't fulfill their purpose? I bet you throw them away or put them in the burn pile, right? (Don't pretend you've never thrown something away, please!)
If you would like to fulfill your purpose, check out www.godlovestheworld.com to start your relationship with God.
I tried it both ways - With God is by far the best!!! You can have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control more than you ever had!

God is love and by this we mean not only does He radiate love but His very nature is love itself which is infinite,He did not create us to burn in Hell no one who loves even imperfectly as we do would wish evil, pain or harm to the one who is loved.
God created Hell for satan and the fallen angels and this was before we were made, so it is wrong to say He was being unfair to us.
Hell is a place and state where love is totally rejected and lost, by rebelling against God`s created order the deviland the fallen angels declared `We will not serve but want to be served ``in other words they meant that they loved their own nature over and above God.
The devil had perfect knowledge of his act of rebellion but we do not and so God in His love and mercy has given us a second chance and sent His Son to show us the way back to friendship with God, we cannot therefore throw this back in His face and not be judged for it, even in human life we have to abide by the laws of society and if not we have to pay the price of justice.

If you do end up in hell it will be because you deserve it based upon the choices you have made from your own free will. You will end up glorifying God's judicial nature.
Better to come to faith in Christ and receive the forgiveness of sins and experience God's grace. Then you will end up glorifying God's graciousness.
Either way you'll glorify God. Your choice.

God doesn't want to send anyone to hell! He wants all to be saved. It's not up to God if people go to hell; it's up to people. IT's their choice. If they choose to put their faith in Christ for salvation and redemption, (which is what God wants them to do) then they'll be saved. If they try to "be good" or be their own lord then they will not be saved.
God is no monster!! Don't follow the devil's lies which slander God's character and make Him out to be evil. That's what the devil did in the garden of evil and continues to do. Don't believe his lies!
Who do you know who'd give up their only Son whom they loved to save many? Would you give up your only son if it meant salvation for billions and billions of people?

Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? What if God, willing to show His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He afore prepared unto glory. Romans 9:21-23
For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9

God created Hell as a place for those to exist who don't wish to be with Him.
What kind of love would it be if God forced you to exist with Him forever when you don't wish it so?
