I am thinking of majoring in Business, any thoughts?
I am currently a student at University of Alabama at Birmingham and majoring in pre-nursing. I have some serious doubts in that this is what I wish to continue to pursue. I was thinking I might enjoy Business. Does any one have any insights on what you do with different degrees in Business, what is offered, ect.? I would appreciate any help.

Business is a good degree. So is nursing.
But it you really want to make the big bucks, get a business degree in healthcare management. THAT's where the money is. UAB has a program in that, I think.

Business is one of those degrees that, because it's not specialized, you really could find yourself in any field. You may end up in a "business" atmosphere or you may end up being a manager at a coffee house. If you just want a degree it's a good one. But if you are looking for a specific career field you may want to chose a more specified degree.
