Solving the Bears QB problem?
I read this in a Blog, I thought it was a good idea. Put the Bears Punter Johnson or Maynard in as the QB.., when he gets the ball he can turn around and punt it to Devin Hester who is lined up behind him, Hester will probably score and the Bears problems are solved...What do you think, will it work?
Wow, people that was a joke..Thanks for the support Tru Blu
Good point Magneto

first of all, team jesus is an idiot. if grossman can't perform in a contract year and hasn't performed after 3 or so years as the starting QB knowing he had a great defense and all he had to do to win was not make mistakes, then he'll never be any good. norv turner can't turn him around, look what he's done to rivers this year he's nothing like he was last year. the bears can't and will never win a SB with grossman as the QB
now on to the question. the article was obviously a joke and one of the girls before me had a point, if they kick it then it's going to be the other team's ball. so a more practical approach would be to have one of the qb's just pitch it to him and just let him run wild. it's not like anything else has worked for the offense. but having him in punt formation wouldn't work because most of the offense probably isn't used to playing special teams. so i say just pitch it to him and let him run

Ha that is pretty funny, but in all honesty I think the Bears can win it all next year and have one of the most feared offenses in the league, with Rex Grossman at the helm. When you're done laughing hear me out. Rex's contract ends after the season he knows he's not going to be able to go anywhere else so he signs a contract for the veteran minimum. The Bears Offensive coordinator MUST be replaced after this season, and the famed quarterback and running back developing career coordinator will be out of San Diego. Boom Norv gets brought in, gets bad Rex out and suddenly we have a pro bowl type qb for pennies on the dollar.

The Bears have much more than a QB issue.
The receivers are not catching the ball well and there line does not block for them well either. Some of those bad passes were not Grise fault. They need a class in football 101.

Knowing how inept the Bears are in offense, since the Bear punter is kicking back toward his own goal,he probably would wind up kicking a drop kick field goal against his own team which would result in Visitors 3 Bears 0

Draft so plenty extra appropriate linemen. Then get decrease back the best working decrease back they gave away. Then get a pair of excellent receivers. Then get an excellent QB. in reality, the finished offense sucks.

It would not work. Because if he punts the ball to his own team-mate then the opposing team would get the ball where Devin Hester touches it, so that wouldn't be good for the Bears.

Excellent!!
But wait until after they play G.B.
So . . . Hester should be a receiver or a running back?

is that a joke? i mean, you can let THROW it to devin hester and let him run it. but the bears, sorry to say this, GO DRAFT OR TRADE A Fuk1NG QB, and, make sure he's better then griese and grossman.
