Jena 6 - making money off this?
I am appauled by the injustice in the US justice system. No one denies that it was wrong for the 6 kids to beat up 1 kid even after he was unconscious, no matter what that one kid said. But attempted murder? Come on!
But I just saw something on youtube that just made me SO sad. Pictures of Robert Bailey literally gloating with all the money he has made from his supporters who have sent him cash for his defense fund.
Does this make you sad too?
So I guess if you want to support the defense fund, please do it through legit means (through an organization). Please do not send money directly to the defendants!

All six should be charged with a hate crime and be sentenced accordingly.
That is all. There should be no defense fund, since they are clearly guilty - given the amount of witnesses and the bragging of the so-called Jena 6 themselves.

I did not donate any money to the Jena 6 fund. I do not support them or the crime they committed and I think they should go to prison for many years for that crime.
I hope the people that did donate money know that not only has Robert Bailey posted pictures of himself and one of the other Jena 6 criminals with that donated money , Bailey's mother and Bell's mother bought new cars and new furniture. I also heard they took trips using that money.
AND there is no legal defense expense. The attorney is pro bono. How much defense do guilty people need anyway.
There should be an investigation into the misuse of donated funds. That is fraud. Especially since Bells mother posted on the internet asking for money and then she used it to buy a car. Update on the car is , Al Sharpton told her to return the Jag and get something less flashy. Still does not make it right , does it.

The Jena 6 acted out of savage rage; adrenaline, fueled out of blinding anger. All six, pouring their energy on the beating victim---could have killed him in under 2 minutes. So I can logically understand the Jena DA feeling attempted murder was a befitting charge.
Ghetto thugs like the Jena 6 don't see tons of cash (legally) being showered literally into their laps every given day, which is why they feel money BUYS happiness and the good life.....and the proverbial "Get Out of Jail Free cards"; threats by the knife and gun demands respect shown towards them.
THAT is the credo of the ghetto thug and Jena 6. And you can be assured their attorneys are loving the action, too!!
Thousands of fools are convinced the Jena 6 will be found innocent, so they toss their $$$$ at these clowns, hoping the cash buys jurors and judge(s), paying the cost of freedom for the Jena 6.

Hi Jasmine9
Yes it is very sad.
I can tell that you are a very good and sensitive person, and you care alot about right and wrong. good for you.
I'm glad that you brought this to the attention of so many people on YA.
I will follow your advice and be extra carefull if I ever support any defense fund. ( But not this one as you're report has caused me to lose any sympathy for him. He is a criminal)

You gotta be kidding me!
I guess he just wanted his 15 minutes of fame?
I still support them. They should be punished, as long as the punishment fits the crime! It doesn't in this case.
