Do you think I'll get a violation for asking honest, yet admittedly pointed, questions about Y!A?

Update:

Hey Irish, you reminded me of the Fig Newton song, lets all sing:

Oo-ee, gooey, rich and chewy inside.

Golden, flaky, tender cakey outside.

Wrap the inside in the outside.

Is it good?

Darn Tootin' Doin' the Big FIG NEWTON, the big FIG NEWTON

It is a random, non-cohesive system Yahoo! has. They are arbitrary & inconsistant; at times kowtowing to someone who reports a question because he/she merely dislikes it, then alternately leaving a post that is inflamatory, sexist, vulgar, racist, repellant and/or rhetorical. They are just as slip shod and hit or miss with their service. People complain repeatedly about the same things and there is no correction or satisfaction to be had. Instead they throw seven different kinds of smoke by giving us 'Ask Mike', the mouse-y in the karate outfit & we sign Al Gore-ish 'Green' statements and get canvas bags & fridge magnets, etc... Yahoo! manipulates their own community guidelines whether by design or laziness and we are pull our legs out of the morass of confusion they create. You will get a violation sooner or later with these folks for forthright questions about their practices & services but that's just the kind of organization they are: Groovy, connected, hip & edgy on the outside; disorganized, unhelpful, uncoordinated & face saving on the inside.

  • Yes! They have ten people working on your violation right now. As a matter of fact, they have a whole team working round the clock on matters in P/S... as for *real* issues like ours... there is one and only one cutomer service rep behind the black hole you mentioned.... BTW... with persistance, you can get past the black hole and actually write an email to someone! Not that it does any good! I'm def. getting a violation now, but maybe then someone will look at the problem with my email!!!!

Hard to say....I asked a question about Scott Peterson once and got brutalized by the Yahoo corporation.....I am usually serious, light hearted comical or just wasting time....Never racial or hateful. Whats your question? Millions of people want to know.
