    Yes!

After a over a year of being here in VT, we finally found the crappie. On Monday, we caught over 100, and kept our limit of 25 each. Wednesday was a bit slow, but we still caught about 20 each. Yesterday, we went again, and caught our limit, and kept fishing after that (releasing them) because we were having so much fun. We're giving them a break for a day or two, then we will go again.

Although we were targeting the crappie, we never knew what we were going to pull up. We also caught yellow perch, white perch, bluegills, rock bass, bowfins, largemouth and smallmouth. I caught the largest bass that I have ever caught in VT, a 5+ pound largemouth. Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera with me.

The best part? We were fishing a river that goes through a wildlife refuge, so there were no houses, no people, just bald eagles and blue herons and beavers. We fished from dawn to dusk yesterday, a whole day of great fishing, and there was no one else around, not a single other fishing boat. The only people we saw were 2 kayakers. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Hope you have a great weekend, and get out fishing yourself. :-)

Still catching nice chicken halibut right now fishing near the river mouth in about 300 ft with salmon bellies. The pink salmon run is almost over, but the chum should be here soon. Northwest BC, fishing guide.

Absolutely. I have been fishing Lake Erie for Yellow Perch. We have been limiting (30 per person) every time we go out. They are getting larger as the weather gets a little cooler. The jumbos should be hitting within a couple weeks. The walleye should be starting to hit close to shore in a few weeks if the weather continues to cool.

This weekend in Texas, the Kingfish have been in a feeding frenzy in the surf.

This morning the guys on my trip wanted bull reds, and I couldn't get one to bite for nothing, but I had a dozen ribbonfish as Plan B, and we went through a dozen in about 5min once we found the kings.

We had to run back to the dock and get about another 4 dozen thinking it would last us a while. It ended up about 30min until we ran out of ribbon fish again!

All in all, for one fishing trip with 10guys we came back with 11 nice sized king Mackeral and 12 Mangrove Snapper.

yup. I catchded a bunch of brown trout in the provo river here in Utah. You can only fly fish up the canyon, so I fish right through town, and I stomp 'em. Wont tell ya what I use though, its an ancient Chinese secret.

It started out as a good year, but work has interupted my fishing and I am really upset about it.

I went in April & May, and did very well (even got a 3rd place in a tourny)

Have not been since, and now I need to winterize the boat, I was hoping on taking it out again befor winter but still working too much, so I don't know that it will happen

X your fingers for me, Thanks

Naw, I haven't been fishing lately. Next time you go, give me a call. I think the fishing will be better when the water gets a little cooler anyway.
