USC losing isn't surprising....?

1. The past great USC teams have played close games and managed to pull away because of their talent

2. After last week's upsets, nothing surprises me anymore.

It's not THAT suprising, since it is college football and anything can happen. However, they have a great deal of talent, and they played terribly against Washington last week, a game they should have won easily. Pete Carroll's a good coach, so it would be hard to imagine them losing at home to the worst team in the Pac 10, I would have thought they'd turn it around and get things worked out, but obviously they didn't. They're still a good team and will contend for the Pac 10 Title, but now they look very vulnerable to Oregon, ASU, Cal and other teams, they've sort of reached a crossroads as a team now.

True dat. True dat. Football has been turned on its head. Up is down, left is right, good teams are suddenly bad and bad teams are suddenly good.
