Ben Franklin said it well: "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety". Safety is never permanent and is by its very nature nearly impossible to preserve by any means when facing a determined foe. Liberty however is easily lost, but just as easily preserved as long as we stand up for our constitution and the freedom provided therein.
