I and every Republican I know are eager to see him step down.

IF he was innocent (and from where I'm standing, that's a big IF), it was incredibly stupid for him to plead guilty. Now that he has, he should face the consequences. He is simply damaging himself and his party further by continuing to be obstinant about this whole case. Had he stepped down, he would have faded into obscurity like Gerry Studds and that would have been the end of it.

Mr. Craig, if you read this, STEP DOWN!!!

I think most of his state is supporting him. If they want him then they should stand behind him.

I don't think the main stream republicans in office are having anything to do with him.

If they are it is only to give him a push out the door. I suppose if he was a Democrat, Democrats would say that the police entrapped him. Goodness, the man pled guilty. Get him out of the government.

The could invite him to be the key note speaker at their convention. After all they are party of the big tent open all persons gay or straight.

No, but Dem Barney Frank is behind him.

No, and in fact I think that most want him to do what's right and resign as he said he would do. AND a lot of us wish he would take George Bush with him.
