Fathers... Who are you more protective of?
your daughters or your sons and why?
Smiles, I did not ask for opinions of over protective fathers, I asked which they were more protective of.

both equally, but on different levels. I protect my son in a friend looking out for a friend kinda way. and my daughters, I protect them in a...touch them and die kinda way. Make sense?

Boys are assumed to be tougher than girls, that is why some fathers are more protective of their daughters. But, the true father will kill anyone that would dare hurt his son or daughter.

I don’t have a daughter yet. But, if I had a daughter and if I were to travel in a plane with my daughter and my son and if one of them had to sit in a different row, near to an adult male, I will ask my son to go sit there. If the other person was an adult female, then also I will ask my son to go sit there.

As a father of three girls, and no sons, i have to say my daughters :o)
Mind you, I'm probably a bit more protective toward my middle daughter as she has a small speech impediment and it makes her an easy target for child-bullying.

I feel I am equally protective. I am not overly protective but I don't want either my sons or daughter to get hurt.

I'll admit it I am more protective over girls though I try not to be because I know that she needs to learn the same lessons the boys do. But dang it I just don't catch myself in time some times I am getting better at it though.

Slam dunk. 110%. I am more protective of my daughters. "Why?", you ask. Because I have three daughters and no sons. (Pretty silly question to ask me)

Both.
Because I love them.
I might stick up for them with different vigour depending on what it was and what influences that vigour is how I feel their self esteem or strength will get them through a situation.
But if it came to near death, near rape or rape, I would be superman for both of them and equally.
