Do you support impeachment?

Impeachment has been forwarded as one method of ending the Iraq war and bringing the general goings-on in Washington

back towards the sunshine of public accountability. What do you think?

Impeachment is reserved for Presidents who have actually broken the law in a serious way.

As much as you hate the war in Iraq, as much as you can't stand Bush, or his "Bushisms", he does currently hold the executive authority, and is the commander in chief of the armed forces. You cannot impeach the President simply because you do not agree with a war. It would set a dangerous precident and undermine the athority of every future Commander in Chief.

I think you should impeach Newt Gingrich BEFORE he steps up as a presidential candidate - grounds - hypocrisy for full scale cheating on his second wife whilst impeaching Clinton for mucking about with an intern.

Save a whole load of trouble later on!

If a president can be impeached for diggling about with interns, cigars and peppermint, then it goes without saying that one can be impeached for taking the whole world up the A**. Plus a $ Trillion debt for his buddies in the arms trade, whilst opposing child health insurance. It's no wonder the rest of the world looks on in horror at the USA

You could support giving every American a billion trillion dollars, but just because you do doesn't mean anything. See, here's the thing, Bush has not committed any impeachable offense. Okay. I'll say that one more time. Bush has not committed any impeachable offense. The loony left not liking him is not grounds for impeachment. So, deal with it, move on, and like a poster said before me stop beating a dead horse or I'll be force to send PETA after you.

No. I don't like George Bush but removing him from office would move us one step closer to president Pelosi. More importantly, impeaching Bush would be impeaching the country. We have more important things to do right now than impeach a president who will be out of office before we know it.

Impeachment won't end the war in Iraq. Cheney will find plenty of ways to keep it going.

Pelosi definitely needs to be held accountable. So impeach her by all means.
