How do I retrieve this Word document file?
I downloaded it from my e-mail, but while I was editing on it, I "saved" it. I didn't think to do Save As, and just kept Ctrl + S... I assumed it would've saved to some type of TEMP folder at the very least, but now I can't find it AT ALL... is it possible that it could have saved NOWHERE? If not, how do I FIND THIS FILE?
It was from an e-mail attachment, and so now I'm convinced I saved it into oblivion. Anybody got magic directions that will pull up a history of EVERY process and/or (in this case) temporary file I've accessed?

Do a Search for it. Enter all or part of the file name, and the search engine will find everything with those words in the name and show it to you. From there you can choose which one you think it is.
If you're still in the open document, save it again and see where it goes.
Good luck finding it. Search should do the trick! :)

Try go to "search" in start window. Search any part of the document that you can remember. If you using windows XP you can narrow the search for word document
If was an attachment to your email, you may have save it as a "richtext".
Best way is to do the search

if you know the name of it or any info about it
1. click the start menu on the bottom left hand screen of your desktop
2.then on the right side click "search"
3. then fill out the infomation you want or need
