Why is it....?
Why is it, when you go outside, it doesn't necessarily stink, but when you come in from being outside, you have that strong "outdoors" smell that stinks?
Ok, so no more morons answer, I haven't smelled it on myself, but I have noticed, that most people after they have been outside for awhile come back in with a smell that I don't care for. And to answer your question, no I don't particularly care for the smell of clothes that have been on the line. That's why I don't hang mine on the line. I own a dryer, perhaps you should try getting one. The modern world of electricity can be nice.

It kind of depends where you live really. When people go out the wind carries everything from pollen to pollution that is deposited on a person. If you live in a rural area it could be a certain type of pollen. If you live in a city it could be from cars exhaust or factory fumes.
I find it funny that you think the "outdoors" smell stinks because by being in your house you get twice as many "things" deposited on you. That is how you get that signature smell. Ever stay at a friend's and when you get home & unpack all your clothes have a funny smell.

Is there something peculiar about where you live? Certainly *I* don't smell bad when I come in from outdoors. (And my s#!t don't stink either :-)
