  • Why won't my ceiling fan light work?

Okay so I had 2 out of 5 bulbs out on my ceiling fan light & I bought the new Energy Saver bulbs to replace them. I went to turn on my ceiling fan light (using the switch not the pull cord) and one of the last 2 bulbs blew. I went to take it out and noticed that it actually broke so I had to turn off the circuit breaker and use pliers to remove the bulb. After that I replaced all the bulbs and turned on the circuit breaker but when I flipped the switch for the light they didn't come on but the fan did. What did I do wrong? Did the blown bulb mess something up?

  • How to fix a frozen printer cartridge?

I am trying to print out some important documents I need today. I am sick and working from home. I went to print and the printer worked but nothing was on the paper. I can only assume the cartridges are frozen since our home office has a lot of windows & is naturally colder than the rest of the house. Anyone know how to fix the cartridges?

  • Kitten with potty issues?

I am keeping my cousin's cat until she graduates from college in the Spring and can get herself setup. The kitten goes poop all the time and it is never solid. I took him to the vet and he just told me he had a sour stomach. The vet switched his food and gave the kitten some medicine for the diarrhea, either has helped. The kitten is 8mos old, as been neutered, and has had all its shots. I spend over $80 for a useless trip to vet. Has anyone had a similar problem or have an idea what may be wrong with this kitten?

  • Dust is taking over my Bedroom?

My fiance & I built a house about a year ago. Ever since we moved in a have noticed that our bedroom collects a lot of dust. I have to dust it every week and it is not just running a swifer over some furniture, it includes wet dusting all the furniture, ceiling fan, walls, air vents, blinds, and washing all curtains, cushions, bedding. At first I thought it was the ceiling fan just stirring it up all the time but the living room has a fan and it is not nearly as bad. I also notice none of the other rooms have dust sticking to the walls but it does in the bedroom. Yes, we have pets but they do not go into the bedroom. People suggested it was the A/C but the unit is brand new. I have terrible allergies and I cannot figure this problem out. Any suggestions?

  • Does anyone have good advice on how to potty train a puppy that is totally against the idea?

I have a 3 month old elkhound/terrier mix that has been a nightmare with potty training. I have done everything I have heard or read to do. I let him out regularly, I crate him when I am gone, I have pee pads everywhere, I praise & treat him when he is good & I speak mean & crate him when he is bad. He even potties in his bed which most dogs won't do. The vet says he is in perfect health & he eats Iams, so it is not his diet or health. Any advice from someone who has be in this situation would be greatly appreciated!!!!

  • How do you lessen or get rid of surgery scars?

I was in a car accident (which was not my fault) last month and I was lucky enough to end up with only a shattered and dislocated right ankle. I had to have surgery to repair the damage and now I have a large and very ugly scar on each side of my leg. Any good tricks on how to lessen or get rid of them?

  • New A/C Smell?

I just bought a NEW house (built in 2006) and the air that comes out when the A/C kicks on has a new smell. Any ideas how I can get rid of it? The builders said it would go away when the unit gets broken in but it has been a month with 95-100 degree temps & I am tired of it.

  • Need advice about having my cats declawed?

My fiance & I are building a house and have spent a nice amount for furniture & etc. He has a dog & I have 2 cats. We are worried about the cats clawing up the new furniture in response to being moved to a strange place & because of the dog (the dog loves cats). I would love advice from anyone with a similar situation.
