Is this right?

Police follow you into the tube. You get on the tube and the man next to you grabs you. He holds you back in your seat so you cannot move. Then you are shot 7 times in the head. CT film shows you walk into tube. The police say you ran and volted over the barrier. Am I missing something here?

Update:

Zamblast. How many illegal immigrants sit on the tube without having their heads blown off? It seems to be that the police top to bottom lied. Illegal or not 7 shoots seem totally out of proportion when he could not move and was inicent of any crime.

Update 2:

BD. I did not comment as I was pinching myself to be sure.

I think the fact that he was an illegal immigrant has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

The country was gripped by the highest terrorist alert seen in this country. Innocent people had been killed by the first suicide bombers and a failed attempt had been made the previous day.

Police (wrongly) believed that the male was one of those failed bombers. This is where it seriously falls down. Had he been one of those bombers then the police would have been hailed as heroes.

The sad fact is that the male was not a bomber. An explosive device can be easily concealed under any baggy clothing. The police cannot shout challenges to a suicide bomber. Any sort of notion that the bomber was about to be cornered and he would detonate his device, taking the officers and any innocent bystanders with him.

The officers were under strict instructions. There was only one way to deal with a suicide bomber. This was the way in which it happened, however brutal that may sound. The tragic part was that the male was not a bomber. Disappointingly lies were then told.

Yes the police are accountable. Not all the officers though. Certainly the firearms officers were acting on an honestly held belief that they were dealing with a terrorist. Had they failed to act and he had been a terrorist....... then they would be accountable for multiple deaths. This was the kind of situation as a firearms cop that has never been experienced before in the UK. Frankly this was something I never expected to see in my service.

They were damned if they did and equally damned if they didn't.

No you are not missing anything, the police are covered no matter what terrible mistakes they make including shooting an innocent person dead. Seven shots to the head - a little over the top to put it mildly. For the other person who said he ran . Listen and Look at the recent CCTV he was not running. The police lied from the start because they made such a huge mistake. It is certainly not the first and unfortunately will not be the last. Though we can bank on them covering each other backs, lies or not.

It is very sad that an innocent person died, even if he was in this country illegally, but unfortunately the Police were given bad intelligence, so not their fault and if he had been a terrorist and had explosives strapped to him then how many people would have died in ther tube?. The people at the top should not have lied about the shooting so they should be in Court.

But the person in question has invalid immigration papers and thought the police were going to arrest him.

If he wasn't an illegal, he wouldn't have been sat on the tube would he?.....and the tax payer wouldnt have to pay vast sums to bring his family over to visit the scene of the "crime" and in some future date, pay millions in compensation to them.

At that time tensions were so ridiculously high amongst Londoners. He shouldn't have died, but then again, he shouldn't have run away.

Armed guards don't turn up at your house and chase you through London a few days after a terrosit attack because your are an illegal imigrant from SA!
