Did anyone watch the SpeedVision World Challenge GT race at Atlanta last Friday(10-5-07)?

How do you feel about the way SCCA handled the red flag issues(allowing crews to change tires during the red flag, then putting the cars back into the order prior to the red flag, thereby penalizing those that came in early to change to rain tires prior to the red flag) and is there any way to reconcile the mess that SCCA created?

I only caught a few minutes of the races, and that wasn't one of them.

That sounds pretty bogus to me. In every sanctioning body I have dealt with, when the red flag is thrown, you stop. That means you also stop working on your car, and if you don't stop, you sure as heck don't get your place back.
