I'm sorry if I've offended you. I just simply typed the questions as it was read in the article.
I thought it was interesting to read that some high school students fail their WWII quiz. The history teacher was upset about this and gave out the questions and answers to the SF Chronicle.

1. b. Many Celebs posed for the posters. And Veronica Lake got her famous bangs cut on camera because of concerns that women imitating the style would get their hair caught in the machinety.
2. d. Everybody knows that. It was a desperation play by the Japanese. They were hoping for a quick string of victories that would force the US to sue for peace and lift the strategic materials embargo, which had the Japanese losing the war in China.
3.c. Hirohito tried to surrender after the first bomb, but a military coup put him under house arrest and he couldn't get the message out.

My father was WWII veteran. It is most abusive nasty bad question that I ever herd, It is stupid and nothing fun. I take you out of my friends list immediately.
