what are the best value amusement parks near Chatanooga ,TN? Also other cool things for a family to do there?

Lake Winnie (Winnesoka?) just inside Georgia. They have some smaller-sized rides that are great for little ones. Great prices.

Dollywood is fun, but the prices are kind of scary. It is about a 2 hour drive on the other side of Knoxville.

If you want to do something different, Chattanooga has an aquarium. Plus, there's the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Rock City.

Edit: Sorry, I thought Lake Winnie was in GA. I've been several times and had fun. It isn't Six Flags, but there's enough there for a day of fun and funnel cakes, too! :)

Don't know about amusement parks, but check out Ruby Falls, it is totally awesome!!!

Gatlinburg is a overpriced tourist trap - Let your kids go hiking, etc...Don't do the Gatlinburg experience...It is so cheesy that it even scares me.

Not sure where it is, but I've heard Dollywood is a blast. (I think its an amusement park....) And I would reccomend going to Gatlinburg if you can. They have an awesome aquarium! :D
