There ain't no thing as Christian science. If there were, there also had to be Buddhist science and Islamic science and, let's not forget, Wicca science. Did you ever hear of those? How do their "sciences" differ from Christian science? What do you do if you find a conflict? Start a religious war? Or pray together for an answer from god? And who's god would that be?

Well.. jewels are really not made in heaven. The rubies the astronomers have seen are the size of dust corns and look like what is on the surface of sandpaper. No gems, just cheap alumina powder.

See, there is the problem: the language of science is different from everyday language. An astronomer who hears "ruby" and "sapphire" thinks dust. You think of an egg sized red or blue gem stone. And that is just not the same thing.

A Christian Scientist is not just a Christian who likes science, they're something else entirely. It's a specific sect of Christianity, just like Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, etc. A Christian Scientist has as much to do with real science as a Scientologist - which is nothing at all

There's not really anything remotely religious about the article you posted, and even if there was, it's nothing specific to Christianity.

To address your update: Again, "Christian Science" has nothing to do with science. You might want to look at the link I provided to see what Christian Science actually is. The old "Heaven is up, Hell is down" position is figurative. Ask your local priest, preacher, pastor, whatever, they'll tell you the same. Heaven is not literally in the clouds, or in the stars, and if you dig a deep hole, you will not get to Hell. Oh, you'll find lots of lava, but no devils.

The fact that Jewels are now being found out in space is interesting - but they're also made in the earth, so in your literal interpretation of "Heaven Up, Hell Down", jewels are made in Hell, too. So they're made in both. So it doesn't really mean anything.

I think it has absolutely nothing to do with religion, whatsoever. Rubies, emeralds, sapphires, tourmalines, etc. are all made somehow. It's nothing more than the atomic makeup of the substance that makes the difference between a ruby and a rock. The only reason they are precious on earth is because they are rare.

Them being made near black holes has nothing to do with heaven.

If outer space is heaven, that frozen vacuum of space is going to be a pretty miserable place to live out eternity.

And up and down are pretty ambigious, I mean, to Australia, heaven would technically be India.. and to me, India is kinda dirty and gross. :\ I mean, they bathe in polluted water.. come on now.
