May I give Eid Greetings to my Brothers and Sisters?

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim

Salaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

I just want to extend greetings to my brothers and sisters in Islam as the Eid comes. Whether you are celebrating on Friday or Saturday, I wish you all "Eid Mubarak". I pray that Allah subhanahu wa t'ala accepts our fasts, remits our sins, and helps us to be stronger believers in the coming year, Ameen.

For our friends on this board, the Eid al-Fitr is the holiday that marks the end of the month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, or engaging in marital relations with our spouses during the daylight hours. We also strive to come closer to Allah with more reciting of our Scripture, the Holy Qur'an, and more praying and more giving of charity. We are instructed to be patient and to not lose our tempers. It is a month wherein we learn to appreciate the food and drink that Allah has given us, and to have sympathy for the less fortunate.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

Wa'alaikum as’salaam wa rahmatullaah wa Barakaatuh

May He accept all your duas and Fasting of this beautiful month of Ramadan. May He give us more love and strength to do His Ebadaah in this duniya and protect us from the fitnah of the shaytan. May He protect us from back-biting and slanders and make us better Muslims. May He make us among His most loved. May Allah forgive all our sins and strengthen our emaan in Him. May He grant us al-Jannah Al-Firdous. May He make our hearts grow strong with emaan and compassion for the righteous path and help us strive to be best of Muslims we can be. Ameen.

As we celebrate this blessed day let us not forget the suffering of our oppressed brothers and sisters in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, Sudan, Somalia, Guantanamo, and other places where they are being oppressed. Visit the following link to learn more on their conditions:
