Deceptively Delicious vs. The Sneaky Chef?
Any thoughts on the pros and cons of each? Any recommendations of recipes in each one?
I am SO excited to try this out. Not sure which one (or both) to buy and try first!

I was watching Oprah on Monday and she had Jessica Seinfeld (author of Deceptively Delicious) and some of her recipes on the show. They looked and sounded like they could work. Since then though, I have been asking around and apparently she did copy the Sneaky Chef and those recipes are actually better. However, the general consensus is that both would work!

ALthough I have not read DD, I own and love TSC. It has not only great ideas and recipes that are simple enough for a beginner cook but it has loads of nutritional info packed in as well. I glanced through DD at Target the other day and I think it is basically just a rip off. Buy the Sneaky Chef.
Source(s): I own the book. Every recipe I have made has been awesome. - 1 decade ago
"The Sneaky Chef" recipes are wonderful! Chocolate Chip Cookies, Brownies, Pasta dishes, Breakfast "ice cream" with hidden avocado...muffins, pizza, etc etc. All made with the sneaky puree's. This book changed my life and worked too. My son and husband are eating veggies and they do not know it!
When I saw the writer of the other book on Oprah I could not believe how much she ripped off Sneaky Chef and called all of the ideas her own! She obviously stole the whole idea and is trying to pass it off like no one would notice! I have not read her book so can not comment but it can not possibly be as awesome as Sneaky Chef!

All babies bypass by "choosy" ranges. in the journey that your baby comes to a decision to not consume something, basically substitute it till they come back to it. you may keep in mind that it is not what they consume at each and each meal yet what they consume over an afternoon or perhaps over a week that counts. making a meal exciting can advise not something extra advantageous than making the nutrition on their plates look like faces. provide nutrition nicknames the babies locate exciting. Boys - and extra ladies than you will anticipate - often like gory names. Putrid lizard eyeballs are extra exciting to consume than peas. blend issues up slightly. I basically had a effective dish of green beans with an prolonged-cooked, made with clean tomatoes, as fat loose as i will make it spaghetti sauce blended into it. It tasted large - yet I forgot to place slightly grated cheese on it;-( A flat pasta like farfalle could be substituted for tortilla chips in a large little Pasta Nachos dish with slightly of chili, thinly sliced tomatoes and a few shredded taco cheese, the completed element on a mattress of lettuce. it is likewise possible to place a sprint of many of the babies' favourite salad dressing on it. Use the kitchen shears to snip some large marshmallows into slices and placed them right into a peanut butter sandwich. they have much less sugar than jams or jellies and a bargain of extra protein. there is not a fruit interior the international that doesn't flavor extra ideal sliced up and dunked into the babies favourite yogurt. The trick is to make the sturdy stuff "youngster available". as quickly as mealtime turns into conflict time, that's complicated to bypass returned.
