there are no pay or free sites for a background check. the places that charge you on the net can not give you one.the only place to get one is at a police station.it is not public information.you can only get a check for yourself and not anyone else.they do not always do a check for you. even the officers have to have a reason and often have to sign papers.----retired texas deputy sheriff----

Wow, where do you live? Anyhew, your local police can do a background check (in most places). In other countries, it would be at the Federal level (e.g., Hong Kong or the Philippines).
