Do you think that Tokyo Mew Mew need to be redub by Funimation?

Pretty much anything done by Funimation needs to be redone. They always make up their own dialog for shows and give them a usa spin rather than just translating the japanese dialog. I haven't seen the show in question but I have seen enough funimation shows to know that the quality is low. Take dragon ball z for example. Before funimation got the rights to the show ADV did the dubbing. When ADV was doing it the dialog was for the most part a straight translation from japanese to english and the music all stayed the same too. When funimation came in they got rid of all the original voice actors replaced them with people who didn't do nearly as good of a job and they changed the dialog and added music into the show that wasnt there before. Look at the DBZ movies that came out first and then the ones funimation did. The first one they released pretty much had Disturbed playing in the background the entire movie. It was awful. Ok rant over.

Yes - I think the kids need to at least see a dub closer to the real story.

No - I just don't like dubs in general. xD
