Large wedding reception hall in Los Angeles?
I am looking for a hall in the Los Angeles area that will allow me to bring my own catering. I really like anything unique, but it has to be a place that will hold 275 people or greater. Any suggestions will really help (whether you were married there or attended a wedding there yourself.) Thank you!

Los Angeles is a big place! Try posting this on the Los Angeles section--I think it's under Travel, USA, California, etc. I actually live in L.A. area but can't think of one particular place right now since most wedding receptions I've attended have been at hotels, restaurants or country clubs.

Post this on local boards like those on theknot.com. This is nationwide so chances of someone being that familiar with LA is going to be slim.
Also call city hall parks and recreation department. Most of your typical wedding locations don't allow that but if you go with a city owned property you have more freedom.

The Bagramian Hall in Montebello, off the 60fwy - it holds 300+ people. The fee is for 300 people and they add more $ for more people. They let you bring your own food.
Try local parks too, Bateman Hall in Lynwood is big and allow you to bring in your own food.
I agree, try the knot - but they also have country club venues. Also try herecomestheguide.com - very helpful site and projectwedding.com - hth!
Source(s): Our venue allows outside catering for $500 extra but it's in Palos Verdes - they allow alcohol provided by us too - it is the Norris Pavilion.
