Don't you think there should be a Constitutional Ammendment?

One that bans str8 people from cohabitating without getting married?

I think that all this shacking up that str8 people do (when they have the ability to wed) is tearing at the fabric of society.

Do you agree?

This question was posted to be funny....To point out how silly it is to create a constitutional amendment making marriage legal when it involves men and women.

The reason it was "for straight people" is because they have the choice of becoming legally wed and, as we all know, gay couples do not.

Lol. Nope. Do you know how hard it is to try and make it into an ammendment. I really hope your answer wasnt serious. If it was against the law, there would have to be A LOT more jails!

    No, I don't agree.

Marriage is simply a piece of paper and is meaningless to the relationship. It is a legal document concerning inheritance and other spousal rights. Marriage does not "hold society together". It will not make a better relationship, better children, better behavior, better neighbors.

A good couple is a good couple with or without the "marriage certificate". A bad couple is a bad couple and no piece of paper is going to improve it.

I do think something needs to be very much as it is hitting at the morale fiber , and also showing that people are losing respect for themselves and others no different than gays or lesb getting married same idea. but i dont think it needs an amendment

H*ll, no! I do not think that morality or what some consider to be morality should ever be legislated. This country was founded on freedom of choice. I will live with whomever I please and it is not now nor will it ever be your business or anyone else's except the person with whom I live.

No, but I think enforced grammar should be.
