HD Antennas?
I need to know what to do about a HD antenna. I am getting ready to move and I will be 17 miles away from all the stations except one. I will be 40 miles away from that station in the opposite direction. I will have dish network and will need the antenna to get my locals in HD. I need some advice for antennas that will be able to get the close locals as well as the one that is further away in a different direction. Could I just point a long range antenna towards the one that is 40 miles away and still get the close ones?
How am I supposed to pick a best answer when all of the answer blow. Why would I call my local cable provider? thats why I asked the question in here, I am not getting an antenna that turns, they break too much, and I already had that website

Yes, you could get a signal from the closer ones, but the signal would not be as strong as the closer stations. I would recommend buying an indoor antenna. Put it up in your attic and buy a long coax. Then pull the cable to your tv. Use a splitter.

get an antenna that has a rotor built on it. as you change channels the rotor box on the the ant rod will turn to get you the best signal
