I changed my 360 picture a few hours ago - but it still hasn't posted...?

what do I do?

I already changed it to my primary picture.

I edited my profile & I selected the 360 photo as my display image.

But it is still showing my old 360 image. Is there something I've overlooked?

What am I doing wrong?

HELP?!?!

Update:

Jay - 1st: THANK YOU for the compliment. ; )

2nd: I didn't know you already asked that question - so copy-cat doesn't apply :P

& 3rd: I'm adding you NOW!!! :D My 1st 360 contact YIPEE!!!

The feature is not working properly or consistently for many people for months.

Some people that you see with 360 pictures on Y/A probably did that before this serious version of the glitch began and have not tried to update their picture. More images have been appearing, so it seems like the glitch is being fixed.

The image may show up for some people in 1 to 2 days, but it will not do that for everyone. Even if you are one of the lucky ones, this is an on-going problem and it is highly likely that at some point an appearing 360 image may disappear on Y/A again in the future.

You should do the following to see if the glitch has been fixed for you as well:

Make sure a JPEG formatted photo (with .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB is saved to your hard drive.

    - Click your "My Page" link at the top

    - Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

    - Click "Browse" and upload photo into an empty field. Then click one "use as primary" radio button on the right before saving.

You can't upload more than 4 profile pictures (this includes an avatar). Make sure that you are following the 360 Personal Photo guidelines here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/guidelines/gu... . It also has been suggested that you try putting the image in different spots among the four to get it to work.

Then, come back to Yahoo! Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo! Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing the 360 picture. Click Preview and then the OK button. Then, wait 1-2 days to see if your image will show up.

If it doesn't work, I recommend contacting 360 by clicking on your "Beta Feedback" link in the top right corner of your 360 space and send in a Help form on this Technical Problem. They may take a week to a month to respond (if at all), but they do read the messages to track 360-wide problems.

Also, see http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=answers&... for the Y/A staff response to this issue.

    Good luck!

Did you press keep anfter you made your avatar, and then back once you imported it for your profile? And, did you opt for the alternative to apply your Yahoo 360 as your avatar? properly, in case you probably did not, then it really is the challenge.
