Calculation for antiobiotic mix - lousy at math- HELP!!?
Ok, this is a powdered antiobiotic for chickens. It says to mix 200-400 mg to a gallon. Or 400-800mg to a gallon for a really sick chicken.
I don't know how to measure anything this small and I don't have a scale that would help- Could someone give me an idea of what 200-400 mg would look like? Thanks very much!!!

Ok, on the label it should tell you how many mg in a teaspoon/tablespoon/cup, something like that. You can't figure it out without that ratio. Read the label very carefully.

1000mg is 1 gram
There are about 28 grams in an ounce. You therefore
want about 1/100 of an ounce per gallon of water.
Sounds like the tip of a teaspoon to me, and a small-
very small tip at that.
