tattoo on the inside of the lip...?

I have my daughters name there, I got it when she was Born..................SHE IS NOW 5 & her name is the same as it was 5 years ago, NO FADING......

People should not answer things just because they assume that they are correct.

Yes it will fade over time if your lucky it will last a couple of months as most but will start to fade out pretty quick.

If your getting it for yourself and can live with paying for it and having it fade out within months then go for it.

Otherwise there are other body parts you can tattoo that you would keep covered and maybe able to hide it from your folks if thats what your worried about.

Worse case sceniero your pop tries to scrub it off with a scrub brush.. yeah seen it happen. Best case you get yelled at for a few hours and they drop it.

I heard it fades, but I think someone told me it fades after a few years, not months. All you need to do it go get a touchup, though. I think it has to do with the skin on the inside, it's constantly getting torn and stuff by your lips, and it grows back.

I want one too, a touchup every few years isn't that big a deal.

Yes! It will definitely fade - and maybe not even in a few weeks, maybe in a few days! I don't know why anyone would want to do this unless they are doing it as a joke or a spur of the moment thing and don't want the tattoo forever.

Yes it will fade over time as your mouth sheds skin on a daily basis.I may stay for a few days,to weeks to months.Mine lasted about 3 weeks.

I dont think it will fade, its tattooed into the skin, Im sure they wouldnt tattoo the inside of your lip if it would fade away in 2 weeks...

i knew a guy in college that had the inside of his lip tattooed and it did fade a little but it was still visible.

now why do you want a tatt on the inside of thelip. whats the senseof putting it there. thats dumb dont you think. maybe you should think before you do anything drastic your gonna regret.

Sorry, but I wouldn't think of getting a tattoo if I had to decide where to hide it. I see no point at all of getting one inside the lip. Lame if you ask me.

My first honest thought was, "Why would anyone want a tattoo on the INSIDE of their lip?" Nobody can see it.
