For People With Dogs???

When I was working full time, there were days when my poor dog was home for 9-12 hours by himself.

Thankfully, I do not have a long work schedule like that anymore because I felt like a terrible dog owner.

I have a pekignese/poodle mix (about 13 lbs), and he is crate trained. His crate is inside the house and it is the size crate that would be suitable for a large dog, such as a boxer.

My dog is almost never home alone, but if they are it's usually only 1-3 hours. They sleep inside (in the laundry), but spend the rest of the day outside in the back yard. My dog is a Pomeranian.

We leave at 8:30 am and the kids are home from school by 2:30 or so. He sleeps inside- often on my bed. He is a mixed breed- St Bernard, Newfoundland and Akita. Poor thing is a mess right now as he is molting! About 85lbs.

3 Chihuahuas, they stay outside about 5 hours during the day, then at night they sleep in a dog bed inside.

I have three dogs. One is a Blue Tick, one is a Walker, and one is a Yellow Lab. The Blue Tick and Walker sleep outside because they are dogs who hunt raccoons and the Yellow Lab sleeps inside. They are not home by themselves often.

I had a long-haired mini hot dog, until I had to go away to college and couldn't bring her. I gave her to my parents, because I love her too much to give her to strangers. She sleeps inside, usually in my room, although she has her own bed. She is home alone when my parents are at work. But if they leave for more than a day, they have my aunt doggie-sit.

Depends.. Up to 24 hours at one time. She sleeps inside and she's a 6 year old pure breed Rottweiler.

I have a 8 year old sheltie. He stays inside about 8 hours a day. He thinks he's human and sleeps inside.

I have a labradoodle...he's absolutey gorgeous. He stays home about 6 hours everyday and sleeps inside. The rest of the time he's usually runing around outside...I love him so much

They are at home for 6 hours a day 3 days a week. They sleep indoors. I have 2 Australian shepherds, a schipperke, and a Pomeranian/chihuahua mix.
