Whats the worst thing your parent did when teaching you to drive?

Actually I was driving alone by the time I was 14.

So at the tender age of 12 or 13, my dad was teaching me to drive and wanted me to drive on the interstate. So I did, he wanted me to drive faster and pass a semi. Once I passed the Semi and got in front of the semi, I started slowing down because I was driving well over the speed limit.

Of course the Truck was gaining on me and my dad started yelling his head off for me to step on the gas, I did.......

But I started shaking so bad that my foot could hardle handle pressing on the gas. I didnt ever feel comfortable letting him teach me again. He is a NUT! His teaching techniques really didnt teach me anything, except how to break the driving law.

Well one time I drove on a busy intersection with my mother.. There were construction barrels to my right and she was convinced I was going to hit them. She kept screaming and screaming until i turned to look at her, telling her I wasn't going to hit them.. But while turning to her, I ran a red light... Needless to say, my father took over teaching me.
